The gift of time
Time is a gift and it tends to pass quickly. There is urgency; not one that should make you worry or anxious, but hopeful and excited about every second you have. Use every moment you’re given toward something productive, valuable, and glorifying to God.
Psalm 90:12, “Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Of all the commodities in your life, time is the only one you can’t make more of. Be a good steward of your time. This precious gift is something to explore, enjoy, and maximize. You do have a purpose and there are things that need to be done. You don’t want to rush or slow down your time because as scripture talks about, there are seasons and all things should be experienced in their proper time. Find the balance between productivity and rest, learning and teaching.
Ephesians 5:15-16, “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time…”
Understanding the weight and preciousness of time, and that it is passing, is imperative to using it wisely. This will give you a heart of wisdom to be productive and glorifying to God.
